"This is going to be tough." Coach Willow, a tall woman with her silver hair tied in a bun, blew her whistle. "Alright, everyone! Dribble through the pass! First one to the other side gets a point!"

Maybe you should try hopping!" Jun gritted his teeth. "I'll show him," he muttered. Teodoro watched, nervously clutching his vial of mushroom spores. Near the edge of the field, where the mud was thickest, vibrant green moss thrived. It looked... different. "Hey, Jun!" Teodoro called out. "Look at this moss! It's growing right in the worst part of the mud!

Immediately, they felt a difference. Their shoes gripped the mud with surprising strength. "It's working!" Teodoro shouted. Jun grinned, pumping his arms.

He dribbled past Karim, the mud no longer a hindrance. As he crossed the finish line, Coach Willow smiled. "Jun wins! Remember this day, boys," she announced.
