"Off-key indeed!" a voice boomed. An old gnome, Professor Eldrin, hurried toward them, his beard nearly sweeping the snow.

If it loses its light, this whole kingdom will freeze solid! I've been tracking it, and there is a faint but concerning dark spot on it!" He held out a magnifying glass, revealing a strange, dark blemish marring the gemstone's surface.

"Legend says only a ride on Pegasus to the Sunken Garden can restore the Sunstone. But nobody has ever seen Pegasus, and the Garden is only reachable by a very skilled and graceful rider!" Pip squawked in agreement.

Pip squawked in agreement. "As Leonardo da Vinci said, 'Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.' We can do this!"

Maya closed her eyes, focusing on the inscription: 'Only a heart filled with kindness can awaken the Sky Dancer.' She thought of all the people in the kingdom relying on her. She then rubbed the glowing feather against the frozen statue. A brilliant light erupted, and the statue began to thaw, transforming into a magnificent, winged Pegasus! "I see the light, Maya," Pegasus neighed, the sound shimmering like crystal, "show me to the Sunstone!"
