The Jungle Book — Mowgli's Brothers
Coming to Wonder Tales on 21 November 2026.
On a warm night in the Seeonee hills a naked brown baby pushes through the thorn bush into a wolf's cave, with the lame tiger Shere Khan roaring at the mouth behind him. Mother Wolf refuses to give the man's cub up, and when the Pack meets at the Council Rock under Akela, Baloo the brown bear and Bagheera the black panther speak for the boy and buy his life. Mowgli grows up among the wolves, learning the Law of the Jungle from Baloo, hunting with Bagheera, and sitting safe in the coils of Kaa the rock python. But Shere Khan never forgets, and whispers to the young wolves that a man's cub has no place in the Pack until the Pack is split in two. Warned by Bagheera, Mowgli goes down to the village and carries back the Red Flower in a clay pot, and at the Council Rock he faces the tiger with a blazing branch and drives him, singed and shamed, down the ravine. The Pack is divided. At dawn Mowgli kisses Mother Wolf goodbye and walks down to the village of men, promising that he will come back.
