Image licence
Every illustration on WonderBooks is original artwork created for these stories. All rights are reserved. The pictures are free to look at and free to read alongside the stories they belong to — they are not free to republish, resell, or reuse elsewhere.
What you may do without asking
- Read any story on this site, with its illustrations, at no cost.
- Link to any page here, including a page containing an illustration.
- Quote a short passage of a story with a credit and a link back.
What needs permission first
- Republishing an illustration anywhere else — a site, a book, a video, a social post, a presentation, a printed handout.
- Any commercial use of an illustration.
- Modifying an illustration, or using it to train a model.
Asking for permission
Write to [email protected] and say which illustration you mean — the page URL is enough — and where you would like to use it. Requests from teachers, schools, journalists and researchers are welcome and are usually straightforward.
