Nalini, Lila's mom, smiled as she entered the room. "That's right! Without electric generators, we wouldn't have light, or phones, or even the water pump that brings water into our house!"

"Faraday?" Lila repeated, her eyes widening. She knew that name! Following the woman's gaze, Lila walked toward a small, cluttered workshop, sounds of hammering echoing. Inside, a man with wild hair tinkered with wires and magnets. "Excuse me, are you Michael Faraday?" Lila asked, her voice filled with excitement.

Faraday looked up, surprised. "Indeed, I am," he replied, wiping his brow. "And who might you be, young lady?" Lila beamed.
