Imani pointed at the TV, where a sleek, modern building was being constructed. "Whoa, look at that skyscraper!" Riku exclaimed, his eyes wide with amazement. "I wonder, who invented the first building blocks? What did kids play with before LEGO?"

The swirling colors faded, and Riku found himself in a small workshop filled with wooden toys. "This is Billund, Denmark, in the 1930s," a voice said.

"Wow, these toys are amazing!" Riku exclaimed, picking up a small wooden duck. Ole chuckled. "Thank you! But things were tough back then.
"Wow, these toys are amazing!" Riku exclaimed, picking up a small wooden duck. Ole chuckled. "Thank you! But things were tough back then. I had to be creative to survive. One of my favorite sayings from Henry Ford is, 'Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right.' I knew I could do it, even when times were hardest, and the word LEGO is from the Danish words 'leg' and 'godt' meaning 'play well'." Ole's expression turned thoughtful.

"I started thinking about making something more versatile, something that could be used to build anything.

"So, what happened next?" Riku asked, his eyes full of curiosity. Ole carefully picked up a small, hollow plastic brick.
"So, what happened next?" Riku asked, his eyes full of curiosity. Ole carefully picked up a small, hollow plastic brick. "After World War II, plastic became more available. In 1949, I invented 'Automatic Binding Bricks,' which later became LEGO. It wasn't perfect, though. The first versions didn't hold together very well, and I spent years perfecting the clutch power! It took nearly a decade!"

"Clutch power?" Riku tilted his head. Ole grinned. "Yes! That's what makes the bricks stick together! In 1958, we perfected the stud-and-tube coupling system – the way LEGO bricks connect so strongly. We patented it, and that was the key breakthrough. From that day, children all over the world could build anything their imaginations dreamed up! Did you know that in 1968, we opened Legoland Park?"

"That's incredible!" Riku said, his fingers playing with a few LEGO bricks. "So, from wooden toys to billions of plastic bricks... how many LEGO bricks are made?" Ole smiled. "Every year, we make over 90 billion LEGO elements, Riku. Since we started in 1949, it's estimated more than 800 billion LEGO parts have been produced. They are sold in more than 130 countries!"

Back in his room, Riku clutched the LEGO brick tightly. He raced back to Imani. "I learned so much! LEGOs were invented by Ole Kirk Christiansen in Denmark.
