Who even invented these things? People didn't always have phones, did they?" Bram smiled. "Not always, Malik. It's quite a story. Let's consult the encyclopedia."

He cranked a handle, and a flickering image appeared on the screen – workers leaving the Lumière factory. Malik gasped. "It's like the paintings in the museum! But this...this is real life!" Bram added, "They made a business from this - by 1907, Pathé Frères' revenue was exceeding 7 million!"

"How did you even think of this?" Malik asked, his eyes wide with wonder. Louis chuckled. "Well, Malik, I built on the work of others.
"How did you even think of this?" Malik asked, his eyes wide with wonder. Louis chuckled. "Well, Malik, I built on the work of others. Muybridge's zoopraxiscope showed me that capturing motion was possible. Then, my brother Auguste and I put our heads together." He smiled. "We just kept experimenting until we found a way to make the images move smoothly and project them for everyone to see."
