Alexei stared out the window at the swirling clouds. Homes floated among them, connected by intricate bridges and sky-rails.
Alexei stared out the window at the swirling clouds. Homes floated among them, connected by intricate bridges and sky-rails. "Grand Aunt Mirko, how do we even get up to the higher cloud-cities? It takes forever to climb!" Mirko chuckled, adjusting her spectacles. "Patience, Alexei. It wasn't always climbing. People used to struggle a lot before the hydraulic elevator came to be."

Alexei stared out the window at the swirling clouds. Homes floated among them, connected by intricate bridges and sky-rails. "Grand Aunt Mirko, how do we even get up to the higher cloud-cities? It takes forever to climb!" Mirko chuckled, adjusting her spectacles. "Patience, Alexei. It wasn't always climbing. People used to struggle a lot before the hydraulic elevator came to be."

"Hydraulic elevator? What's that?" Alexei asked, tilting his head. "How did people manage before?" Mirko smiled. "That's a wonderful question!

Alexei's eyes widened. He dashed toward his room, its walls covered in planetary maps and contraption blueprints. He knew what to do, that book would show him what he needed to see.

"What are you building?" Alexei asked, his voice filled with curiosity, ignoring the man's gruff tone. "Something called a 'hydraulic jigger'. Mr.

It is very rewarding seeing an invention come to life", said William Armstrong.

Kiran scoffed. "People? That's just askin' for trouble. If the cable snaps...?" Armstrong frowned. "We need a safer design. And for that, as Leonardo da Vinci said, 'principles for the Development of a Complete Mind: Study the science of art. Study the art of science.

Armstrong cried, a triumphant grin on his face. "The world will never be the same! Soon, everyone will have buildings rising higher and higher thanks to this lift!"

He explained how water pressure lifted people and how it made tall buildings possible. "Now, we don't have to climb all the way to the top of Cloud-City!
