In the floating sky market of Aethyr, where merchants traded bottled weather and dreams were bartered for stardust, lived three sisters: fair Belle, vain Thistle, and kind Bramble. Their father, a humble cloud merchant, sought fortune but found only misfortune when a storm forced him to take shelter in a shadowed, forgotten corner of Aethyr. There, he plucked a single glowing rose, and a monstrous shadow roared, demanding a life for a life.

Bramble, selfless and brave, offered herself to the Beast, not knowing that within the shadows of his floating castle lay a secret as vast as the sky itself.

"Father, you cannot face the Beast's wrath alone," Bramble insisted, her voice trembling but firm. Her father wept, his face buried in his hands.
"Father, you cannot face the Beast's wrath alone," Bramble insisted, her voice trembling but firm. Her father wept, his face buried in his hands. "It is my fault, child. I brought this upon you." Bramble knelt, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Remember what Seneca said: 'Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.' This isn't an end, Father, but a new beginning, one I must face."

Guided by the enchanted rose, Bramble ascended to the Beast's castle, a fortress of obsidian and shadow swirling with dark clouds. The air grew cold, and a sense of dread settled upon her. As she entered the castle's echoing halls, a voice boomed, "You have come to pay the price." Bramble, heart pounding, replied, "I am here to honor my father's debt."

A grotesque, winged servant, his face obscured by shadows, led Bramble to her chambers. "The Beast allows you freedom within these walls, but you must obey his commands," the servant rasped. Bramble found a single book on a shelf, its cover blank, the pages filled with whispers, not words. She wondered about the secrets this castle held, what darkness dwelled within its master.

The prince, free from his curse, revealed that he had been trapped by a jealous sorceress. He and Bramble ruled Aethyr with kindness and wisdom, their love a beacon of hope in the floating sky market. And they learned that true beauty lies not in appearances, but in the heart, for as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry wrote in The Little Prince: 'It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye'.
