Tao found himself in a busy street, filled with people struggling to carry large bags of groceries. "Wow, this is definitely...different," Tao muttered, clutching his notebook. He watched as a woman dropped a carton of eggs, sighing in frustration. He noticed another man straining under the weight of several overflowing sacks, his face red with effort. "This must be before...well, before something. I wonder what it is, though!"

Tao jotted notes furiously in his notebook. "It's like what Plato said, 'Necessity is the mother of invention.' It's clear there's a need here. What year is this, sir?"

Goldman explained, "I tinkered for months! First, I tried attaching baskets to chairs with wheels. They kept tipping over!" He showed Tao sketches of his failed designs. "Then, I thought about how people carried suitcases on folding chairs at train stations. That gave me the big idea!" The cart was born from that spark of inspiration.

I had to hire models to push them around and make them look appealing!" Tao laughed, scribbling even faster. "That's amazing! So, how many stores use shopping carts now?"
