It's even more beautiful from here, isn't it, Mom?" she exclaimed, gesturing towards the sprawling network of floating islands that comprised their home. Her mother smiled, pointing towards a peculiar sight in the distance. "Look, Taj. What do you think is causing that part of the garden to droop like that?"

It's even more beautiful from here, isn't it, Mom?" she exclaimed, gesturing towards the sprawling network of floating islands that comprised their home. Her mother smiled, pointing towards a peculiar sight in the distance. "Look, Taj. What do you think is causing that part of the garden to droop like that?"

"Maybe it's a problem with the Sky-Weave supports? If those weaken, it could affect the...er...cloud-soil," he suggested, scratching his head. "Sky-Weave supports?" Taj and her mom said in unison. "What's cloud-soil?"

Taj frowned, pulling out her notebook. "It almost looks like the plants aren't getting enough...something?" Jabari, who had been tinkering with a small repulsor engine nearby, wandered over. "Maybe it's a problem with the Sky-Weave supports? If those weaken, it could affect the...er...cloud-soil," he suggested, scratching his head. "Sky-Weave supports?" Taj and her mom said in unison. Imagine the year 1928 on the North Atlantic Ocean, a tiny patch of algae, unseen by anyone," she began, waving her hand, and the floating workshop faded, the clouds around them swirling into a tunnel of light. "Aboard a ship nearby, Alexander Fleming was about to make a discovery, but it had nothing to do with sea plants!"
